This upcoming Saturday on July 16th members of both the Charlotte County Fire and Law Enforcement will take part in their annual charity softball event. Opening Honorary pitches will start off the event at 3:00 pm and be followed by the event. The event is being held at Charlotte County Sports Park on State Road 776 in Port Charlotte, Florida. Admission to the event is only 12 dollars and all proceeds will benefit the Speacial Olympics Foundation as well as the Muscular Dystrophy Organization. Also included with you tickets are admission the 6:30 pm Charlotte Stone Crab vs Clearwater Threshers and option to participate in silent auctions should you choose to do so. Tickets can be purchased via Charlotte Sun Newspapers offices before hand for a great 2 in 1 bundle that benefits a great cause.
