Gallery Walk in Downtown Punta Gorda on November 18th, 2011
The Gallery Walk in downtown Punta Gorda took place again on November 18th, 2011. The galley walk is a community event where local business stay open past normal hours and all participate in celebrating the arts by hosting live music, a local artist showcasing thier latest work, or artists working live on site on their works. It is a huge social gathering and takes place on every third Thursday of the month providing a nice change of pace event where patrons of restaurants and businesses can mix socializing and shopping with a educational oppurtunity and a perfect icebreaker for those not familiar with the arts or visiting from out of the area.
