Seth Walker Live Performance at the Ice House Pub in Punta Gorda on December 10th, 2011
The Ice House Pub in Punta Gorda, Florida served as the venue for the nationally known and well traveled blues men Seth Walker last evening on December 10th, 2011. Seth Walker was born and raised in the rural country of North Carolina with a family tradition rich in the arts and music. Music was an outlet for Seth that he both enjoyed and found the right fit for him as he grew up through adolescence, where he originally started off just entertaining family and friends before embarking on music as a career. Seth moved out to the city of Austin in the state of Texas where he honed his craft over a period of ten years earning prestigious accolades such as opening up for blues legends such as Ray Charles, B.B King, Jimmy Vaughn, Robert Cray, and Aron Neville, he even earned the respect of blues music icon W.C. Clark who recorded and played on just his second compact disc recorded and was quoted by another blues icon Taj Mahal as ” a little white Ray Charles” noting that he ” played hip music with changes and soul”. It should also be noted that this performance was a free show with no admission that Seth took the time to come to our City on a two day break into between shows on his national tour right now. Seth Walkers music is available digitally on I-tunes by Apple and also on compact disc from his website www.sethwalker.com, he will be putting the finishing touches on his latest work and work from his new upcoming album will be released in February 2012.
